What's PlaygroundBaby?
PlaygroundBaby is a social site for moms and dads to find things for their babies. Clothes. Gifts. Nursery. Strollers. Car seats. Shoes. And much more! It's also designed to have parents share and discover new products, read and take part in discussions, seek advice from parents, and network with other moms and dads like you.

Let's face it, as parents we seldom have hours to spend trying to find what baby needs. So at PlaygroundBaby, you can check in to see what's new and cool that other parent's like yourself have found. And you might just find exactly what you're looking for.
Here are a few ways to get started:
- Read and Discuss: The most popular items is what you'll see when you land on PlaygroundBaby.com. The "What's Popular Tab" is highlighted by default to indicate you are viewing the most popular and active topics in our community.
- Recommend Products: Bought or read about something you want to share? Use the Submit a Link tab to enter your URL, and your submission will appear in the Items Just Added section of the site. If enough users "Vote" it, your post will appear within the most popular area of PlaygroundBaby. To submit, you have to be come a member. It's free and easy -- takes only a few seconds and an email address. Sign-up here.
- Meet Parents: Recommend enough cool stuff and you might find yourself being one of the most authoritative parent on the block. That's a good thing. It means other parents trust your opinions and would like to network with you to share more ideas and discoveries.

Since PlaygroundBaby is 100% run by moms and dads like you, only items that are absolutely the best, in theory, will be featured on the homepage. Finally, why PlaygroundBaby? I couldn't find unbiased and reliable source of recommendation when it comes to childrens' stuff. And I liked the idea of parents like myself sharing with each other what works and what doesn't. So I went forward to build playgroundbaby.com as a site to help promote my cause.
